Sunset Tower Hotel
Hotelier and restauranteur Jeff Klein reopened The Sunset Tower Hotel – formerly known as The Argyle – in 2005 after an extensive renovation by esteemed decorator Paul Fortune who, with Klein’s vision, restored the classic glamour to Hollywood’s finest surviving example of Art Deco architecture.
Designed in 1929 by prominent Los Angeles architect Leland A. Bryant, the building was a landmark from its opening and a favorite of Hollywood stars for decades. The Sunset Tower Hotel, a crown jewel on West Hollywood’s Sunset Strip, introduces an alternative for travelers looking for a refined atmosphere with the highest level of service that is unprecedented in Los Angeles.
The 74 elegant rooms – most with views of Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Hills and downtown Los Angeles – are appointed with Frette sheets and flat-screen TVs, and feature Wi-Fi Internet connectivity. Beyond the first-class accommodations, the hotel offers two restaurants – Tower Bar, a top-notch modern bistro, and The Terrace poolside grill – and the Argyle Salon & Spa, a full-service spa and beauty salon.
