Mel's Drive-In
This '50s-inspired diner is the quintessential Hollywood combination of faux reality and nostalgia. After a day of shopping and sight-seeing along West Hollywood's famous Sunset Boulevard, why not stop in at Mel's for a bite and a drink?
Our West Hollywood location was the former home of Ben Franks, a restaurant that fed luminaries like the Rolling Stones and Andy Warhol. Its amazing "Googie"-style architecture might be one of the reasons that this is our most photogenic location, as it has been featured in countless television shows and movies since its opening in 1997. Another unique feature of the restaurant is a 50-seat outdoor patio that is perfect for people-watching and soaking up the California sunshine.
