Hamburger Hamlet

Hamburger Hamlet is an upscale casual dining restaurant, established in 1950 on the famous Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California by Harry and Marilyn Lewis. On their first date, Harry shared his two main goals in life -- to become a famous actor and play Hamlet and to operate his own restaurant. Four months later Marilyn spotted a small building for lease on the Sunset strip and knew it was the perfect place for a restaurant. Before Harry had a chance to say "to lease or not to lease," Marilyn had sealed the deal.

The restaurant was packed every night with celebrities and a city-wide reputation for “Simply marvelous food and drink” was soon created. Today, the menu remains true to Marilyn's original commitment to quality and great tasting food. While famous for thick and juicy gourmet burgers, Hamlet also offers a wide variety of appetizers, breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch entrees, signature soups, salads, sandwiches, fresh fish and steaks, decadent desserts and a full bar.
