Last week some of The Sunset Strip’s most innovative up-and-coming talents explored the newly opened Pink Taco to sample their delectable Mexican fare and thirst quenching blended libations. The bands: I Will Never Be The Same (photo 2), Battle Tapes (photo 3), and ROMS (photo 4), are all part of a newly rebirthed electro/industrial/dark wave scene that seems to be thriving amidst the recent mainstream success of bands like M83, and the always evolving and ever relevant Trent Reznor (NIN).
The men behind these sounds of the future will gather once more for your listening pleasure this Friday, June 22, when they take the stage at The Viper Room along with likeminded, meticulous track tweakers Echoes de Luxe and the Beat Club. Stop by Pink Taco Sunset Strip for a pre-show dinner, or post show nightcap any night of the week, and bring your receipt to The Viper Room for comped entry (certain restrictions apply).
