0 Last Saturday, Nov. 6, friends of animals and friends of delicious beer alike came together for L.A. Vegan Beer Fest at The Roxy Theatre. The unlimited pours of craft beers were flowing from breweries including Stone Brewing Company, Eagle Rock Brewery, Ballast Point, Bootleggers Brewery and Lagunitas, among others, while food vendors served up meatless, vegan versions of pub fare, including jalapeno poppers, hotdogs, nachos, burritos and chocolate cupcakes. The afternoon event also featured performances by The Paul Chesne Band, Owl Acid, Holland Greco Trio, Ease Up and The Makepeace Brothers, as well as a private VIP tasting room located at On The Rox.

(L.A. Vegan Beer Fest was presented by blogger Quarry Girl, Tony’s Darts Away and The Roxy. A portion of proceeds benefitted nonprofit Animal Rescue Media Education, which rescues homeless animals and educates the public about animal cruelty.)
