Combining all of man’s most hedonistic desires into one sensational night of sleaze—Sam Tripoli’s The Naughty Show returns to The Comedy Store this Wednesday, Sept. 26.  This time around the adult’s only variety show will feature comedians April Macie (Howard Stern), FX’s Steve Rannazzisi, Bert Kreischer of The Travel Channel, plus appearances by adult film stars Kayden Kross, Asphyxia Noir, Alexis Texas, Tori Black and much much more.  Doors open at 8 p.m.  Tickets are $10.  This show is 21+.  www.thecomedystore.com

Educate yourself on the darker side of The Sunset Strip’s storied history when you head to Book Soup this Friday, Sept. 28 for a signing and discussion with author Tere Tereba about her fascinating new read Mickey Cohen: The Life and Crimes of L.A.’s Notorious Mobster.  This revealing new bio tells the larger-than-life tale of one of this city’s most infamous, yet charismatic underworld figures, who spent much of his “leisure” time carousing with celebs at legendary hotspots right here on The Sunset Strip.  In-store event begins at 7 p.m.  www.booksoup.com
