House of Blues Sunset Strip presents Bonzo’s Birthday Bash. Those who love singing along to Journey will want to head over to The Strip this Friday, June 1 for a full night of Rock Of Ages-inspired rocking. The Whisky will host the 25th anniversary show for Jetboy; the House of Blues is hosting `80s karaoke; Hillbilly Herald, who is currently on tour with Slash, will perform at The Viper Room; and the new L.A. guard, Warner Drive, The Shakers and Kill The Complex, will perform at The Roxy. The night will also serve as the launch for the upcoming Rock Of Ages movie and will include ticket giveaways to the movie premiere on June 8, celebrity appearances and drink specials at the participating venues. Don’t miss Blackboard Jungle as they reclaim the stage at The Roxy Theatre for their annual sold-out reunion show on Saturday, June 2. For those looking for a unique, once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, you'll want to make a reservation to attend the Sunday Seafood Supper at the Eveleigh on Sunday. The dinner is part of the Eveleigh's monthly "Sunday Suppers," which feature a 30-minute cooking demonstration and education about the farms and sourcing of the night's sustainable meal. Fisherman Chris Williams from Channel Islands Harbor will be on hand to share information about the local waters, fresh fish and seafood. Chef Jordan Toft will demonstrate how to shuck osyters and filet and prepare a whole fish. As always, a family-style feast will follow the presentation. Dinner also includes an aperitif.
