SUNSET STRIP ROCK DIVAS STRUT THEIR STUFF

Two of The Sunset Strip’s sexiest and most ferocious female rockers—Jodie Schell (photo 2), frontwoman for The Shakers, and Candice Levinson (photo 3), guitarist for Warner Drive — have been playing (and singing) circles around many of their male musician contemporaries as their respective bands take the regional rock circuit by storm, selling out shows wherever their spike-heeled stilettos step foot.

Gearing up for two very hyped, headlining shows at the world famous Viper Room, these stage sirens recently took a break from grueling rehearsal schedules to do a little window shopping at The Sunset Strip’s home furnishings flagship, Diva Rocker Glam, and interview each other, swapping stories and comparing notes on what it means to “play like a girl.”

The Eveleigh Brings The Ranch To The Big City

The Eveleigh restaurant recently launched an exciting new "Sunday Supper" dining series that literally brings the farm to the table. The family-style dinners feature meat and produce direct from California farms as well as an educational component, with guests learning about the participating farm and farmers.

Past dinners have included a full seafood supper and presentation from Channel Islands Harbor fisherman Chris Williams and a pork supper from Devil's Gulch Ranch, which included a butchery lesson.

The series continues on Sunday, July 15 when The Eveleigh's Chef Jordan Toft and Bill Neiman of BN Ranch present a meal featuring California grass-fed beef. BN Ranch's cows graze on fresh grass along the California coast throughout the year. The seasonal, grass-fed beef is only available in the months of June through December.
